Hi, reacting on a 7 year old video, so kind of a long shot. I am building a budget ft500 race bike for vintage demo racing. I want to hop-up the engine a bit and you seem to know a hell of a lot about it. I for instance would like to remove the balancers, I've read that the guys in the states that raced them used to do that to but I just can't find any info on it.

No issue with the wheels to date. I had the rims respoked with heavy duty stainless spokes.

You have any problems with the stock wheels? That much power the only thing I would change is go with some solid wheels.

OK I found it. Basani, like um. Funny S & S doesn't make an exhaust to go with their engines, carbs, & ignitions.

hi. exhaust is a Bassani unit designed for the T143 but doesn't fit this bike so I modified the rear pipe to clear battery box and shortened everything else to fit.
